So far traffic has been flat. Real traffic has a rhythm: busy in the evening, quiet at night (the sim squeezes a day into seconds). On the users' card set Pattern to sine, then Amplitude to 80 and Period to 20. Press Play and watch the requests rise to a peak and fall to a trough.

  • Goal: The peak reaches about 180 requests a second
  • Goal: The trough drops to about 20
  • Goal: The server answers everything, peak included
